Acoustats are hungry for as much voltage as you can make available to them them. My mc2205 had a higher voltage rating on the 8ohm tap and the improvement over that of the 4 ohm tap on my 2+2s and 330 .......

Here here. Some pressing faults can be isolated; others are indicative of the run. The causes can be varied but are often consistent. More pressing, (I couldn't pass it up) is the issue of compressio .......

Thanks for the reply. I did indeed use some contact cleaner on the banana plugs then worked them a bit...and they were a touch loose. I'll try spreading the fins. I'm unsure of the value of the steel .......

Well maybe not distress, but I do have an injured solider here. One of the mid/bass panels on a set of pristine, stock Tympani 1-Ds just simply dosen't want to cooperate and produces no sound. I've do .......
