It will play dvd's,sacd's and dvd-audio disc's just fine. When I put in a standard cd about 95% of the time all I get is a bunch of zeros. I can hear the player spinning up several times before I get .......

Just remember if you change the pc on the Monster HTS3500 it will void the warranty and guarantee on the equipment connected to it. If I`m wrong and it wouldn`t void the warrant from Monster someone P .......

I second the Belden 1695A and Canare RCAP C53 rca`s. I used a Rat Shack crimper that worked really well. I`m not going to disconnect the cables hardly ever. So that is why I went with the Much cheaper .......

I built diy digital cables both with Belden 1506A and with 1695A. In my opinion the 1695A sounded much better in all aspects especially in the bass. MTCW .......

More Info: They are indeed the SR-Lamdas. Much to my horror the very fine acoustical mesh covering the electrostatic drivers on the insides of the headphones has dry rotted. Bummer!!! I doubt unless y .......

Just an update and a correction. The rca`s that are on there now on the IC are Vampire not WBT. As far as the best pricing, I`ve found them the lowest at Michael Percy @ $75.00 for four and $6.50 ship .......

TJ my two cents worth is that you can`t go wrong using the Belden 1695A for your component video and digital IC`s. I was able to use a radio shack $16.00 crimper on the Canare RCAP C-53 with fine resu .......

Belden 1695A is the best they make and worked great for me. You can also make really good digital IC`s with it also. The Canare rca`s work well in both applications. The Belden will run you about $1.2 .......
