I have no knowledge one way or the other of DGG LPs of Furtwngler's WWII recordings, but they did release 2 box sets with several CDs of them a few years ago. -=- Charlie F. .......

On Music & Arts CD-790 (nope: not vinyl. Sorry!). I think this an excellent Furtie LvB IX. Although I have a few other recordings of this work by him, this tends to be my "Go To" when I want this pair .......

I agree that this is a fine LP. I was lucky enough to see Simon guest on, IIRC, whichever late show David Letterman was hosting many years ago. (No clue as to what year I saw this, other than mid-80s- .......

Mike, Of the three shows, "Mr. Lucky" is the sole Mancini track. And wonderful it is. He wrote all the music, not only the theme. "Route 66" – another great tune – was written by Nelson Riddle. "77 Su .......

One reason for promoting the database style, is you could reorder the whole database all by date in a second. Absolutely! Or by any other criterion you'd thought to isolate when creating the databas .......

I have a database with all my music sources listed therein. I can search by artist(s), work, composer, label, format, stereo/mono, etc. I also have a field that indicates the location of all multi-com .......
