Although the Immersion series is described as "DVD Audio" I notice the lack of hyphen. It seems the DVD 5.1 surround discs are must be plain old DVD-Video format, even if dedicated to 5.1 surround mus .......

Denon makes or has made several top "universal disc" players, especially if you are interested in a player for audio only (and don't need blu ray). The best have been DVD-2900, DVD-5900, DVD-3910, and .......
