Thorsten, The RIAA EQ is done in the Pure Vinyl software on the computer. So a preamp is still needed, but it needs to be straight gain with no EQ, like a mic pre or one of the newfangled straight gai .......

Yeah, when I had my Joule-Electra OTL the tubes had extremely long life. There was a manual bias adjustment for each tube. Yes, each tube biased radically differently. And the bias changed over time, .......

I've used the Aurios 1.0 version under my SCD-777ES for 2-3 years and played around with them a lot. I found that putting them directly under the component was not good - while it cleaned up vibration .......

I have done extensive comparions between Harmonic Pro-Silway II and Bogdan Silver Reference ICs. The Bogdans soundly beat the Harmonic cables. I can't think of one area where the Pro-Silways were bett .......
