GE had a lot of the 6922's that were outsourced. I have had Mullards, Siemens, and Holland made GE's that were re-marked. As long as they have the acid etch Delta (triangle) and the XXX/XXX or XXX/XXX .......

Sylvania. The AAV gives it away as a lot of Sylvania tubes had date codes that had three letters: IE AJA/ AAV etc... .......

Some have no hole in the center pin. But those are definitely mullards. The later GZ34 do not have serrated plates. - Bunt .......

I too have always had good experiences from Triode. Ned is honest and has always sent parcels in a timely fashion. However, IMO Fed Ex sucks. They are by far the worst shippers if you have ANYTHING th .......

As far as I know, Mullard didn't make a 6201 with gold pins. Who is supplying these? AFAIK, the only gold pin 6201 were ECC801S, GB6201 (which IMO are the best) and Realistic made some that were gold .......

Yes, Sylvania Gold Brand didn't mean that they all used Gold Pins. There are a lot of them from the late 60's early 70's that were steel pinned. I have had these 5751's and they are awesome. THE FAA d .......

The 5932 are an interesting animal: If you do end up getting any 5932 for audio use, make sure that you pick up the ones with 2 Cylindrical Black Plates. These are up there with the TS 5881/6L6WGB in .......

I LOVE the Antares Autotune. The Mic Modeler is by far my favorite Cubase plugin. Those programs and hardware used to harmonize vocals/instruments work well as long as someone can barely carry a tune. .......

Was your ECC85 marked "Made In Germany"? Telefunken makes a fine ECC85. AFAIK, the Fisher used Telefunkens and remarked them as Fisher. Also check under 6AQ8. Mullards are affordable, but the Tele is .......

IMHO are the best testers for matching tubes. The Seco tests for GAS, Shorts. It has settings and sockets for testing sections for DMC as well as the aforementioned gas and shorts. You could score one .......

The Pins aren't "Virginal". They were each socketed about 4 times in the tester and circuits to get the DMC and the sections matched. I guess I should have put straightened them before I posted those .......

It really is. It just gets to be a real pain when you realize after the Ebay fees and the Paypal fees, it could easily account for 15% of your sale. For buyers it is the best though. I am 100% agreed .......

12DW7. That is a fine tube. I have the original Magnavox ones in my V4 Bass Head. They are just as good or better than the 7247's I have made by GE. The 12DW7 and the GZ34 seem to be his favorite tube .......

For some odd reason, the Bugler of the earlier 6DJ8's will lose their stamp if you so much as look at them. The later BB's use a lighter ink stamp that you can take a hammer to and the stamp stays. I' .......

I am a tube reseller. I got 15.00 for 1 EF86 NIB Telefunken a month ago. You'll have more flexibility in applications with the KT77's than EF86's. That in itself makes it a great swap! ~Bunt ::: TOPIC .......

Priscilla's. The early 90's Fender super series (60, 112, 210) all use a 12AT7, 2 12AX7's and a 6l6GC. I hear you on the commute. .......

Thanks. I have about 77 of these. I got a deal on them, and I use the 12AT7's for the preamps in Fender Guitar and Bass amp repair. It just kind of tripped me out. We use BI Pots in our shop at work. .......

I recently ordered in some 6201's. It seems that the ones I got are RCA tubes that are black plates with 2 date codes of 6413 and 6852. The weird thing is that they are all stamped with the name Beckm .......
