that I have sent. The surrounds of the 12" woofers of my Andra IIs have deteriorated and I emailed them to seek advice on the possibility of parts for getting the surrounds replaced. It's been 2 weeks .......

Yup. The Eichmann Cable Pods are quieter and more detailed by a long shot. If looks matter, then use the WBTs with Herbies Tube Dampers for a similar effect, although the Cable Pods are still a tad mo .......

I haven't heard the standard black gates, having opted for the non-polar ones. In this context, the black gates are way superior to the other electrolytic caps. My CDP came stock with Elna Cerafines. .......

It's great on decks which don't use spring suspensions like the rega (with adjustment of VTA to compensate). So it would depend on the table you're using. It deadened the sound on my Oracle. ::: TOPIC .......

Yes - it depends on the input sensitivity of your power amp. I use the High Gain but have also heard it in systems where Low Gain was preferred. .......

I've listened to the XA7-ES completely modded out with the LC Audio mods and can confirm that they do raise the performance level. It will make the XA7 competitive with current CDPs up to the circa $3 .......

The soundstage does collapse when the line conditioner/surge protector creates a bottleneck to the power requirements of your electronics. I always make sure they are over-rated to the systemsrequirem .......
