So, I read your closing statement as in trying a 12-point socket. And it worked! A 9/16" 12-point socket fit snugly over the nuts. No slop, so as I was tightening it did not feel like the nuts were be .......

Here's a pic of the tweeter. I was going to do 3 runs of the 20 AWG to each of the + and - from the xover to the tweeter. Twist the ends, loop through the opening in the solder tab and then solder .......

Thanks! Woofers were refoamed by the previous owner and he did a good job. Cabinets are a bit dusty in the grooves on the corners and the clip/pot plates, but overall they are in very good shape. Just .......

My understanding is that DF is the load impedance (speaker, let's assume 8 ohms) divided by OI of amp + cable. Assuming the amp OI is zero (it's not, just for example) and the cable is, say, 0.2 ohms .......
