I am an EE, and I too am troubled by the stereotypes that have been tossed around in this thread. I have tried a number of cables in my admittedly modest system and I can hear differences quite clearl .......

Dear Jeff, I would hardly call my digital source 'inferior'. I'm certainly not going to sit here and claim that it is the end all, be all of digital sources, but it is hardly a $100, mass-market playe .......

Yes, you can see the soldering of the Source Hybrid without wrecking the connector. If your Source Hybrid are terminated with VdH RCA's you can unscrew the smooth part of the barrel with the VdH stick .......

Have you looked at the soldering quality on VdH ICs? It is far neater than the work on similarly priced ICs from companies such as Straightwire, Sonic Horizon, JPS Labs, etc. The neatness and consiste .......

I picked mine up as a dealer demo for $500. You can find good used examples for much less. Audio Advisor also has them for $500 right now. Make sure you get the 1000A with the enlarged storage caps. T .......
