I think I've reached my final configuration. I had to put the inductor back in the circuit. It's a Solen Hepta-Litz 14ga, .39 mH. I ordered a Goertz 12ga Alphacore because it has lower DCR, and I want .......

After playing around with my speaker crossovers, I've come up with a tweeter circuit that I prefer to the manufacturer's design, but I'm not sure of what to do with the tweeter zobel circuit. The orig .......

Charisma12's explanation is good, but it covers only moving coil cartridges. A moving magnet cartridge also needs correct loading, but in this case it's the load capacitance that matters. The combined .......

That's correct... 100 ohms to 47K ohms. Load does not seem to be critical for the Lydian Beta. I preferred 100 ohms in my system but there wasn't a big difference with that MC, unlike some others I've .......

I was hoping you wouldn't ask. The fact is, I'm not sure. I had just gotten it when I destroyed my OC9ML. The best I got was an initial impression. The Blackhead was noticeably grain-free, more detail .......

Are you becoming a cartridge collector Rob? Unless I'm mistaken, you have a 10X4, 10X Gold, 103D, & now 304. You should add the new DL-301-S2 to your collection and do a Denon Denon Denon shootout for .......

Thanks, that's exactly what I was looking for, an empirical test of compliance. In his post, Bon takes the cartridge compliance figures as correct and works backwards to the arm effective mass. I pref .......

Hergest, I've been trying to find out the real-world compliance of the 304. Do you know what the arm cartridge resonance is in the RB-250? I believe the 250's effective mass is 12g right? .......
