Not sure what the radiating area is. A 745 is 2340 sq in and 645 is 1790 sq in, so the area of the skinny 745s should be around 2000 sq in? .......

My Sound Labs are "skinny" 745s. They are the width of 645s (so still quite a bit wider than 545s) and the height of 745s. Call the factory--Roger and team can make abouyt anything you want. Just don' .......

I don't have my Sound Labs yet, but plan to plug them into Shunyata power conditioner and distributor with their NR power cords. The power conditioners made a big difference on my front end and MA1s. .......

I just realized I left out a couple steps if anyone cares. I started with a single pair of KenRad VT-231s in V1a--sound better than the Chinese 6AS7GTA in V1a. I installed 3 Sylvania VT-231s into V1b, .......

We were out of town for the weekend, so only ~14 hours overnight. Amps continue to improve. Adjectives like "luscious" "juicy" "gripping" come to mind. I find myself paying more attention to the music .......

Well the M60 consumes about 300W per channel. The MA1 consumes about 500W per channel. Not all of this is heat, and is probably only when all the tubes are running at high volume, but it's kinda like .......

I've successfully bought several dozen 6AS7 (or Russian equivalent) tubes off EBay from Russia. I've had no failures, and all that I've used have lasted well over 3 years. For phono and driver (6SN7) .......
