Why do you divide the 350 by two to get the 175 watts per channel. I would think you take 3-400 watts for logic and driver circuits and then multiply the remaining 1000 watts by 25% and then get 250 w .......

You do not need to use MIT with the Spectral Pre. I have one and am using other cables. The only time you do have to use MIT is when using their amps. So feel free to check out Spectral .......

My Sony scd-777es is one of the better digital front ends I have heard. I like only a handful better. The Wadia 861 comes to mind as well as the MSB Platinum. But do not say that no Sony is worth it. .......

That is a nice amp but not quite up to the task. Everybody has their own likes. Try and hear B&W with Plinius or Classes big amps. I bet you will like it. .......

it is just my opinion. I like a little more romance. The Bass of the Krell is of course awesome but I think it just is not as emotionally satisfying as the Plinius.I have seen alot of people using Kre .......

The position of the volume has more to do with output voltage of the source and input sensativity of the amplifier. Saying that at 1:oo is the threshold is crazy. Depending upon what gear you have 2-3 .......

you should not use that Amp with anything but a pectral Pre. You will run the risk of blowing up your amp if you do not. You also have to use MIT cables. .......

Just make some. I had some 14 gauge romex and stripped it cut it and bent it into shape. Very easy. If you do not use the pins you may get a hum out of your speakers. .......

I can not comment on the performance of the 150 vs the 250 but I can say that you should not bi-amp with one xlr and the other on RCA as there are different outputs on the two. There is a 6 db differe .......

I have an SA-250 with a Cary SLP-98 as my pre. I find it to be a very good pre. It is a little smoother than the 2002 which sounded a bit bright to me. Plus the 98 is just plain prettier with the pain .......
