Ive dialed multiple subs in very difficult acoustic spaces because of poor room geometry and 90 out of phase produced staggeringly bad results as measured by REW. If you understand that room geometry .......

Im not sure of your question but I find that Maxell and TDK chrome and normal bias tapes are still attainable but getting a little pricey compared to metal tapes which are priced out of the market on .......

I found no intrusive effects of either dolby B or C doing an AB comparison between the vinyl and the recordings of the vinyl. Slightly more hiss with Dolby B then Dolby C. .......

The only deck I know of from Yamaha that had balanced outputs was the C300. The KX1200 has single ended outputs. One thing I noticed is that its output is considerably louder than the K720 and KX800 t .......

For the best comparison, you have to compare them side by side and make sure they are level matched in terms of SPL. Relying on memory older than 5 minutes is suspect at best. Audiophiles balk at this .......

I would avoid PSB subwoofers as they are relatively expensive for what you get from a performance perspective. You would be better off with a sub from Rythmik, SVS, Reaction Audio, PSA . This has been .......

I don't think the woofers would move and even if they did, they would not move to the point of over excursion. I would be more worried about an impact misaligning the drive coil more than anything. T .......

In the latter comment, it will be the distortion harmonics that are heard, not distortion to the fundamentals. A bass note of 100Hz will have harmonics that go over the entire range of human hearing- .......

It is as I said before- to mix for the CD you have to be careful about any low level material as it will be reduced in level or lost with respect to what you hear in the monitors or on the headphones- .......

Low distortion numbers (below audibility) is very important. Your example for the CD is completed incorrect. It wasn't the low distortion numbers that made early CDs sound bad. It was that early CDs .......
