Ok, and you're sure about the anti skating? Because I keep reading online that if you have a straight arm, anti skate is not needed and should be set to 0. Then I read that it should be set equal to t .......

Oh jesus, my god. I'm so sorry. No wonder I didn't get a reply. Joel literally just serviced and sent me back my turntable maybe a week or two ago, and I told him when I got it I managed to break a he .......

Ok guys this is driving me nuts. I really want to play my LPs but I am afraid to because I might have some of the tonearm calibration settings wrong. I am specifically talking about anti-skating here. .......

So far, here are the suggestions I am liking: -Put bubble wrap and cardboard under computers -Get some kind of board or tile for the turntable, and isolation blocks to put under it. Questions left: WH .......

You know what, now that I think about it, would bracketing the desk to the wall actually do anything if the bottom of the desk was still touching the floor? There is no way in heck I could suspend it .......

Well... I don't know. I've never really listened to vinyl in an ideal vibration free environment. The best I have heard is with my turntable here on this desk. I'm going to say, the main source of vi .......

OK, so here's the deal. My turntable is in the absolute worst possible location regarding isolation from vibrations. It's location can not be changed. There is absolutely NO ROOM to put it ANYWHERE el .......

I have just ordered the perl and herbies way excellent II mat. I like that the stylus can be replaced on the perl by the end user. I was looking at some of the super high end cartridges that cost $250 .......

Thanks for the advice. I have been looking at the reviews of the DL-160 and it is actually quite intriguing. I do not want a cheap cartridge. Because I do not want a turntable that will wear down LPs. .......

I don't know what AT cartridge is on it, but I just sent an e-mail asking the seller. If possible I don't want to fool with re-tipping, I just want to get a new cartridge and be done with it. Umm, par .......

I have never heard of "low output MC", but I am aware of MC and I do know my phono stage supports it. There is a special input for MC and a switch for it. I have a NAD PP-2 phono stage, see here: http .......

Ok, so basically I have a pretty cruddy turntable. I am replacing it with a Rotel RP-2400. I understand the RP-2400 is nothing super high end, but trust me it will be a lot better than what I have now .......
