Hi all, I have the oppotunty to buy a Transcriptor Skeleton Turntable in mint condition (with all original tempered glass parts). What is a good price for this vintage turntable Thanks for your help C .......

I just got me a Transcriptor Skeleton with a Mayware Formula 4 arm. The Cartridge is a Grace F8-C. It sounds crisp, smooth and extended. The Bass is taught. The Cabernet is good, Wowee, one Happy In .......

link below He claims there's supposed to be a fourth "foot" under the armboard when used with arms other than the Vestigal. Hopefully you can either find one, or have one made. Man, I love the arc .......

I've seen this combo (with Mayware) go for $800 US on eBay, but, frankly, I don't know why they're that high. I've got a Skeleton with the original Vestigal arm. It's a good combo, but I only keep it .......

I meant to say "3D Printed",,,, not "Laser printed", duh. I have a local machine shop who are able to replicate the part for me out of a variety of materials. Also have a local company who do 3D print .......

Isn't that the sign of the Devil? Yes, I know of the Spotmat. My point is that the Transfi mat uses points to elevate the LP, which therefore make minimum contact with the LP surface, which is IMO mor .......

Hi That Skeleton turntable is missing an important part as pictured. If the Skeleton is used with a regular tone-arm, as that one is, then it needs an extra fourth foot under the armboard which Transc .......

At least 25 yrs. old. Decent sound but quite flimsy construction, and a real pain to set up. No idea how it would compare to current tts but if I were you I would look elsewhere. .......

korneluk's numbers are in the ballpark, but the tonearm has a lot to do with it. The original Vestigal arms have more collector value and actually work very well with high-compliance carts, though the .......

Hi Larry, The turntable do not come with original tonearm. A Mayware Formula 4 Unipivot tonearm is installed on the turntable. What is a realistic value for both ? Thanks, Cyr-Marc .......

I received a Transcriptor Skeleton turntable this weekend and the tonearm is disassembled. It looks like, at the end of the tonearm where the wires emerge, there is a pin on the bottom of the end piec .......
