Does anyone know of a UK dealer that stocks both Hadcock arms and Michell tables? I understand that Michell has armboards for Hadcock arms and it would be nice if I could source both the arm and board .......

Don't know the Thorens but you don't want to use a Hadcock with a 3 point suspended deck. Better completely non suspended for unipivots generally. The Hadcock has a lovely midrange and has its musical .......

The Morch red-dot (standard) arm wand is a perfect match with the 20X cart. Never compared the two arms, but the Morch seems like a better design to me. The Hadcock uses an upward-facing bearing point .......

Agree. If you want a course of tonearm study, get a Hadcock. Fiddly, but very adjustable and when you have this thing down you can adjust all other arms without thinking. And to give it it's due--- .......

Thanks John. I don't know why it was described as such. I have an original Hadcock GH228 unipivot and a Grace 714 (the wood one!) so am quite keen on unipivot arms. The Hadcock looks a bit "home made" .......

...I don't see why you need an SME baseplate. My Hadcock 228 has a mounting collar with a little hex screw, very similar to the collar on the L75. Since the arms are about the same eff length I think .......

Yup, I've heard the Hadcock arms are fabulous on the TD150s. I have a TD150 with a Linn arm that I love. If I had the cash flow, I'd probably try a Hadcock. The Naim Aro is supposed to be a great matc .......

I agree entirely with audiofan, Rega arms are perfectly reasonable, and decent value for money (at least here in the UK), but I don't think they really deserve the praise that has been poured on them .......

I've had mine for about 2 years, makes it much easier to set up, you adjust the XTC counterweight to roughly set VTF tracking force and azimuth (set the azimuth holding a torch on a spinning record) u .......

Why dont you check out Scheus own tonearms? Soundscape HiFi, Scheu`s distributor in Asia, says that he prefers even the cheapest of them - the Classic - to even SME arms - although he distributes SM .......

SME, W-B, Well Tempered, are 215.2mm Naim ARO is 213 with 9.5mm cartridge (not adjustable) Hadcock 228 is 209.77mm (specs say 212.85 but that is wrong for the arm length) Kuzmu should be 210.86 like .......
