I had the same issue with my AP Blue Notes and got clarification that it's from the inner sleeve. If you look at the shape of the glue line that holds the poly inner in place it has the same shape. Suspect the vinyl was still warm when they put it in the sleeve causing a chemical/heat reaction with the glue. Haven't had the same issue with MM but they have since changed their inners.
