two questions about the platter
1 what condition was it in when you got it. I ask because i had to redo two different platters on two Technics tables I did with the help of member Tubesforever
2 What exactly did you do to the top of the platter as it looks great.
a final comment on the two platters i did, one had a nice mat black finish and the other had a gloss black. The weird thing is that both platters came from two SL1800MKII's so somewhere along in the production they changed finishes on there platters.
I also have a 1700MKII that has that same mat finish.
Looks good.
