I also just completed the installation of Incognito wire on my RB300 (Basis version with VTA). Echoing NB's sentiments, found it to be a breeze; although without the OL mod, it's necessary to separate the arm from the base (much more frightening sounding than it is in reality -- instructions cover this very well), in order to facilitate passing the wire through the arm.

Note: for removing the tiny rubber gaskets from the pillar holes base, I found the low E string from a guitar string perfect for pushing the pieces out intact.

This portion of the operation took a total of 20 minutes (and I am not an expert -- my last DIY was the Dynaco SCA-80Q kit I assembled back in 1968!). Soldering the cartridge clips is definitely the most difficult part of the process -- wish I had read this thread before, NB's got some great tips.

I'll try to give a report on sound sometime this weekend after burn-in...
