What cartridge(s) do you use with your Technics 1200?

Just wondering...the TNT review on the 1200 states the tonearm's effective mass is 12g, therefore 'too heavy for moving magnet cartridges'. However, the reviewer noted that the tonearm bearings' friction was real low--probably lower than an SME IV. Given that friction is so low, wouldn't moving magnet cartridges work well, especially with the fluid damper? Although the reviewer noticed the low bearing friction he did not bother to try a moving magnet. Maybe this effective mass/cartridge compliance thing is based on the premise of no friction--or a 'standard' friction, I don't know.

I went to my parent's house and my mother replaced the living room furniture where their stereo used to be. She gave me a small bag she had saved and inside were two wooden boxes: a Shure V15 III & and Audio Technica AT15S, my first cartridges. Both stylus are busted, however. Will they be compatible with the 1200's tonearm?

Any thoughs from the 1200 modders out there?
