Pat,
Thanks for the in depth discussion of the Bozak drivers. I own several sets of Bozak speakers including two pair of Concert Grands. I have a set dated 4/62 that has both B200x and B200y tweeters. This set uses the tweeter array configuration where the tweeters are mounted on a metal frame at the top of the cabinet in a sort of half moon look. 4 tweeters [2 each on the outsides of the array] are the shiny cone B200x type while the 4 center tweeters are the B200y type with all black coating. Do you think this might have been done purposely because of a sound difference in the two types or was Bozak merely trying to use up the old stock of B200x's? BTW all the speakers are date code correct. I'd like to pick your brain sometime as I have also been an admirer of this line for about 35 years.
Regards
John
