The comments above do not apply to early Bozak systems which came with B-200X tweeters - the paper cone ones with the bright metal center cap. They were balanced up very nicely and everything was in phase, altho the paper-cone tweeters (B-200X) and midrange (B-209, without the B or C) are not as startlingly clean as the later Y (and eventually Z) tweeters and B-209B and B-209C midranges. The X tweets and 209 mids were great for their day, but the later, aluminum-cone versions are superb.

Also, the craziness started prior to '69. The Y tweets appeared in '62 and the xover mods started around that time.
