Where did you obtain the Jensen paper in oil caps?
- you can get them from welbornelabs or angela. Copper in oil is
$20 each, Aluminum is several bucks cheaper. Don't know the
diff in sound quality.

What kind of solder did you use?
- wonder solder, no special reason, it just happened to be in
in toolbox

Did you build the amp stock and the replaced the caps, if so how much of a change did it produce?
- stock was ASC metal properleyene. Oil made the sound softer, more
transparent and airy

Did you change the single pots for convience or purely for sound quality?
- both. very common that those pots don't track very well up to 8am.
One of them was like that. nobel or alps is $25-$30. I doubt
there's enough room to use step attenuators. Too expensive anyway.

Did you use Sovteks 300B prior to the AVVT and have you tried WE300B?
- I only have AVVT, the filament current is 1.6amp rather than 1.5amp.
so the 10W resistor needs to be changed. I got a bunch, from 1.1
to 1.8 Ohm, just experiemented and measured until the correct
reading is found. These 10 watter seemed to be way off from
the specified value. 1.5 Ohm would measure 1.8 Ohm.

Do you put CD source directly into the amp?
- yes, I always prefer passive because my DAC (3V/6V, 48 Ohm) and
all tube amps I have had match very well.
