Hello Larry:
Believe it or not, the device actually does what it says on the Shakti site. It expands the height, width and depth of the sound field. The presentation of sound is much smoother and convincing, bringing the sound system in line with a live performance. It's quite intoxicating. You're probably familiar with the room treatments on tweaks. I've built them all and have used them, but this is in a league by itself. I'm sure that everyone who has ever built the other tweaks is going to build these. When you look at them, you'd say this is a lot of nonsense. Not so. You can toe them in to increase or decrease the effect, move them forward and back behind the speakers, and literally tune the ambient sound field for size and clarity. This blows all other room treatments out of the water. If I hadn't built it myself, I wouldn't believe the post you're reading now.

I certainly hope you get your Milwaukee jigsaw working again, but if you can't, the new Porter Cable is one of the best saws I've ever owned. Very smooth and powerful. Excellent control. Let me know what happens if you happen to build the devices. I'm sure once a number of people have built them, the Asylum is going to light up with ranting and raving people and perhaps one of them will be able to explain why this device is so amazing.
