I had the same problem, so what I did is just find a cheap coax that had the solid copper core conductor and the teflon dielectric. Radio Shack sells a "low-loss" satellite cable that is foil and braid sheilded and covered in PVC. I removed the PVC, shield and foil, and like a nut, I covered the entire length of my run(s) in copper foil tape. 3M and others make an adhesive backed copper foil tape used in making stained glass and in electrical work. Another person did the same, but used an inductor foil instead of the adhesive foil.Winding the foil took hours. I built the leads with the kynar wire as described in the recipe, but shortened them to 8" from something like 11" (convert from metric). It allowed me to buy the super-cheap RS wire-wrap wire at 50' roll and turn 1 roll into two leads.
