recently purchased an homebrew EL-84 based amp and have now tried rolling in 2 pairs of EL-84's. first is a pair of EH tubes and the second are groove tubes. I plug them in turn the amp on they glow but no sound? I put in a pair of REALISTIC LIFTIME tubes that i had and it play's fine. It also came with a pair of 84's marked hammond, and it play's just fine.??????????
