Hi Inmates,

I am designing and have begun buying components for a pair of Lowther/AER PM4As in Oris 150 horns in a d'Appolita array with 18" dipole woofers above and below the horns. The system will be bi-amped. The Lowther/AERs in the Oris horns will be a 15 ohm load with a sensitivity of 106 to 108 dB/2.83v/m.

After over 30 years of SS and PP tube amps I'm going to try SETs. Most of the amps I've considered use 300B or 2A3 output tubes. Any responses concerning the pros and of thses two either in general or for my particular application would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in Advance,
Don Reid
