Well, I measured my current potentiometer for tracking differences in the listening range:position tracking
7 o'clock start
7-8 3.5dB
8 0.5dB
9 0.1dB
10 -0.3dB
11 -0.4dB
12 o'clock -0.5dBThe question is: Can I improve on these numbers using a better potentiometer or a stepped attenuator? At least for the main listening range 9-10 the tracking is pretty good, but does the difference for the other settings warrant an upgrade and can I expect improvements? That is of course if I can find a potentiometer/attenuator that fits inside the Fi.
Thanks again for everyone's help on this.

So far two that should fit... - restock 12:52:01 01/12/06 ( 0)
