I'm yet another one who doesn't follow your train of thought, if there is one. Mr. Olson (and that's probably how you should be addressing him) has given much to the DIY audio community over the years and is as entitled to his opinions as anyone else, period. And have you documented anything that would consititute a legitimate sales pitch from anything he has brought to a discussion? I think he has more class than that.

Regarding the interstage issue, the perceived sonic outcome of any piece of audio gear, DIY ir not, is a totally subjective quality. If it stirs an emotional response from anyone, the designers intent was probably successful. The specific ideals and implimentations you may hold high, I may dismiss. But let's not bash each other in the process of discussing them.
