1.) Why do you need the mu of a 6sl7 in light of the bias point?
2.) What not the 6sn7 or some other tube with a similar mu, lower rp and more drive?
3.) I don't like monkey amps. Just trading one cap for another. The proper way to dc is to use two power supplies.
4.) The 6c45pi will spank the monkey of a 5842.
5.) Run the 10Y hotter.
