but I find that B&W changes their line many times in a short time. This does not help resale values. The CDM line ran for almost 8 or 9 years, I believe, which certainly helps.The fact that so few CDMs are being offered tells me that there is something about them that is clearly better than the 700 series. I do believe that the 700 series has not been out long enough to really tell, though.
Right now, I use a pair of CDM CNT (yes, center channel speakers - a pair of them) for my office system and they're excellent. I have not bothered to check out the 700 series as I think the prices are too high for the performance. The CDM line was more reasonably priced, IMHO.
