Man that must have been one helluva pricey set-up. :-) Got my lotto ticket - yes I know the odds.

So far they're sounding very good at home. My room is bigger width wise than the store so I can get the speakers spread out more. They reccommend about 90 hours for the bass to really get going - but so far they're impressive - and very tight clear response.

I've been trying to figure it out - Listening to piano work with ensemble - piano notes are allowed to decay while something else is occuring or starts up. It actually sounds like a real piano/organ/guitar cello. The voice band is very clear and lush. I can't wait to improve the ancillaries. The speaker doesn't boom or get in the way or become muddy. To produce bass at 30hz from one driver and yet still not impede the mid band has a great deal of naturallness rather than a compartmentalized sound.

I may consider a used Soro/Otto or build one of their amp kits and DAC. Working backwards.

Your dealer sounds higher end than mine - though my dealer keeps the good E in his own house and the E/XL in the main rig at the store LOL. Oops don't think I should say that.
