Since the LST radiates from its 3 forward-facing panels, you would not want it anywhere near a corner.If I recall correctly, the switch ("2pi-4pi") adjusts the speaker's low frequency balance to compensate for placement against a wall or out in the room, away from the wall (the "4pi" setting).
You need a BIG amp to make these things work.
