Thanks for your opinion.This particular cap didn't really need to be changed. Jonathon said the amp is so over-built in this area that it was a non-issue if I wanted to leave it as it was. Since it was such an easy fix, I just went ahead and did it.
The changes that I hear after the upgrade are typical of using solid silver wire vs. inferior stranded wire in the signal path. A no-brainer. Try using cheap copper stranded IC's vs. excellent silver IC's! But I am sure you are already aware of the difference.
