I don't want to reinvent the horse here. If the single 1543 into a CCS mirror gives me enough output that's great. When you mentioned earlier that you have tried both the 8 and the 1 with a good buffer and they were roughly equivalent I take it that you were not using the mirror then and that now 1 1543 with the mirror is your preference of the three. Was Gordon's comment perhaps oriented toward feeding a buffer stage not a resister output? If these are the case and you don't mind I will follow in your footsteps! I really appreciate your sharing your knowledge on this. It has been one of the most satisfying projects in a long time. It really sounds good.Cheers,
