That's a good point. I have the external USB M-Audio 24/96 Audiophile. I would wonder if it's worth getting an external 192 version. If the analog outs are not improved, I would think not. I think USB 2 (or USB in general) needs to be more reliable, also. Granted, mine only quits and needs to be restarted once in a few hours of play on average after getting a new USB2 card.
