The usual PG recipe calls for a roughly 2-degree tilt, I did something a little more scientific. I first came up with two assumptions (right or wrong), which were that the speakers were going to be 1/3 into the room (confirmed by using the Cardas formula) and that I wanted the center of the panel aimed at my seated ear level. So I made the above jig with a laser level, aimed at a target of the proper height. Then transferred that angle to my speakers.

Yes it has a fixed tilt, but after I get the final position determined in the room, I will install Super Toe spikes, from PE. They can adjust the front or back quite a bit. Worst case I can always rebend the bottom angles and install new longer wood dowels, hopefully that won't be the case.

Honesty, that kind of tweak is miles down the road, after things get settled in.
