This is exactly why I don't use LF horns. One ends up making so many compromises to make them practical that they end up with something that isn't worth doing.

First a horn needs to be large compared to a wavelength to even be called a horn. Well thats impractical so its shorten, causing standing waves and a loss of loading. Then its folded to make it even smaller and we get even more resonances and standing waves. The end result ends up looking like a city skyline.

There is no way to make a "good" and practical LF horn. You can't have both.
