hi eso,
when you tweaked your horns backchamber what did you do: did you tune to let it resonate at the horns flare frequency (70Hz in your case) or did you tune lower and measure (and again tune and measure) to squeeze out the max?

When doing the simulations, I noticed that it seems is acutally not possible to shift the lf knee. You can choose either higher SPL with a steep slope or a more gradual rolloff but with lower SPL at the LF knee. However, this is only simulation. Don't know how this turns out in real life.

Because of the 15L's relative low mass roll-off frequency, I think a longer folded horn would not be a good choice since I have to cross to the mids @ 500Hz or so. 1m overall length is the max. tolerable for me. So I ended up with the 77Hz mouth. Question is wether or not this might be low enough to get nice kickdrums?

best regards.

Erik
PS: would love to sneak into your midbass to see how it's folded
