Erik,
Certainly with the hypex, and possibly with the conical derivitives as well, you should be able to get the response down to the cutoff. Much of that will come down to optimizing the backchamber.

Why can't you model changes in BC volume?

My current 3/16 size 70Hz folded hypex horns actually have strong response to 65Hz...

With some tweaking I believe you could get any of them to go lower than the models suggest, and the lower they go, the lower the cross to a sub...
