I note that two of the Esoteric components (clock & power supply) were place directly on carpet using BDR cones. I am not familiar with BDR cones but if these cones could not penetrate the carpet and make direct contact with the concrete floor, there will be a drop in the sonic performance of these two components.It would be fairer to place ALL components on identical racks.
