Well, this won't cover all the bases by any means.....

Some amplifier designs put a small RL circuit in their output to reduce the possibility of the amp oscillating outside the audio band.

This can react with the dynamic load that a speaker presents to actually alter the in-band frequency response of the amplifier as measured at it's output terminals.

There are probably a thousand other reasons too.
