Sheez. Filtering at fs/2 prior to increasing the sample rate is
a blatant impossibility.

BTW, my previous remark holds for ASRCs as seen today, most often
converting between 44.1 and 96 or 192. I had forgotten that the
AD1890 was actually a low-rate converter for the 32/44.1/48 standards.
It is an antique and rather primitive device and probably generates
a lot of distortion as a side effect if its probably less-than-perfect filtering methods.
