DIY digital cable interconnect. Need advice and recommendation

1. What belden cable are you recommending? I use this for ART DI/O.
2. I heard that I need to terminate it with some type of capacitor. Can you give me the detail on this (type of cap, value and voltage rating)? And where do you terminate the thing (from the shield to???, on both end?? or just one end, etc...)
