I wrote a short summary of my home installation of a computer based music system, with some drawings and photos, you find it below. It was written to somebody being interested in a computer - based system with the Altmann DAC, so it is a bit more about the computer part, then the Altmann DAC itself. But I honestly can say it is the most fantastic piece of audio hardware I have ever met.
