Questions...questions...questions

Is the drive(s) SCSI or IDE?

What size are they and what if any compression is being used?

Is there any form of redundancy i.e RAID, as I would hate to put my entire collection on there only to have it wiped out by a HW failure and have to load it all on again.

What is the soundcard? A Lynx?

I keep wondering all these things given the price of the unit, which seems high to me. I realize aesthetics i.e. case design and overall look are costly, but I'm just wondering if the blood and guts of the thing really justify the cost.
