I have to get a new copy of one of my reference disc and rip a copy before and after treatment. I was sure hoping that treatments don't make a difference in this application, but they seem too.Plextors drives are excellent and it's own software (on Windows) makes the best rips I have heard, and is much quicker and easier than EAC.
But more software is using error correction now, so I don't know how they compare. Windows Media Player also offers an error correction option now.
