Hi Thorsten,
Thanks for your replies. Appreciate your patience and kind attention on my questions/problem.
You are right that adding the Blue-Tact didn't change anything.

Please, one last question regarding removal of the "phase-shield".
Will it affect the : -
(a) affect the timing of the sound,
(b) dispersion and therefore reduce the soundstage/imaging ability of the speaker ?
(c) something else ?
Am thinking that it might solve the "tizziness" caused by the reflection/difraction of the sound, but maybe it might increase the brightness since the tweeter is firing more direct now ?

Just concerned that the designers must have weighed the pro-and-cons of adding the "phase-shield", and decided to add it anyhow for some more important advantage. Also i'm hesitant to cut it off because i live in Singapore and i'm not sure if the local dealer has replacement readily available and if it is cheap.
(I understand you wouldn't know what the designer were thinking, but i'd still like to hear from your experience as you have tried doing this before).

Most Gratefully,
Steve :-)
