Somebody ask...DAC's output into Transformers.
The idea sounds good, but...
Many dac's happen to be of current mode output nature, and like to look into a virtual ground. Audio nirvana is, I'm afraid, not that simple. Does it in general work? Of course! I can live with reduced bass, if the rest is of pristine musical quality. But that's my cup of tea.

Thanks for the suggestion, I hv seen those circuits. I dont understand why in their design the centre of the primary is grounded thru a resistor parellal with a cap, instead of directly. I use 300 ohm as a total load to the DAC current output.Anyway, now I am using a 0.011uf capcacitor at a direct filter at the primary, with the CT ground directly. Will try to get the bass more. perhaps by making it as an autofromer, ie, the secondary -ve end will be connected to the +ve end of the primary, instead of going to ground, usually it will improve the bass a bit. But just a bit lazy to change all the wire connection at the transformer, esp I am using silver cable. Might change the value of the DAC load, may be to 500 oh to see how the boss goes. Byt sound wise is very analog....

The proof is in the pudding. Audio is great fun, isn't it?
Try to reduce the loading on the dac's outputs and see what it will do.

I used a 1+1+1+1 serial of all primary input with 400 ohm impedence so that the impedence is higher then the otput's. I tried a single 180 ohm across the +ve and -ve output but I find the 150 ohm on each polarity output to be more dynamic. I will try both lower and higher value resistor. Thanks. William
