Richard Links and I were exchanging about old record shops in SF.
Story goes like this. My father, brother and I started to collect classical records in mid 60's. Each Sat, my bro and I would clean my father's office (floors, bathrooms, sinks, etc.) and then go down to a record shop, which I did not remember. See posted link from last week.
The collection is pristine today, in my family's home, rarely if ever played. When I visit, I go off with about a half dozen or so. Then return months later. Mom keeps sayin', "take them, you like them."
I can't believe it, but brother found the links to the place, The Record Exchange, Bill M. amazing pics on historical society links.
